Ford Edge Tail Lights Not Working

Ford edge tail lights not working.

You know that it has power before this point since the third brake light is still getting power. Checked a bunch of fuses under the dash but all seemed fine. The rear tail light on the 2015 ford edge sel has developed cracks which leak and cause condensation and water to build up inside the tail light. If the brake light switch is not responding to the brake pedal the mechanic will remove the old switch replacing it with a new one.

Does anyone know what might be. Tried fiddling around with wires at the tail lights but to no avail. Tail light switch problem of the 2010 ford edge 11. All my lights work except the rear running and tail lights on my 08 edge ltd with tow package.

If the tail lights seems to be functioning properly but the brake lights are not working the mechanic should inspect the brake light switch. Check any grounds the harness has in there. Look in the trunk if applicable. If you have the third or dedicated brake light the one not in your tail lights check the harness after they diverge.

I ve checked the brake switch thingy under the dash n it s fine. This creates the potential for a electrical short or fire.
